My wife uses this amazing wrench around the house and loves how easy it is to use.
It comes with a 2 years warranty if you have a receipt and send the wrench back-not just the part. The batteries were dead No big deal and easy to exchange. So I called B&D to try to get a new Drive belt. So I take it apart and the drive belt had broke.
I got this last year for Christmas and used it maybe 2 times. Now the wrench is laying in the bottom of the garbage can. The part was $3.95 but shipping was $6.95- So you were looking at 10.90 for a 25.00 wrench.40% of the price of a new wrench. Not real powerful but for small house jobs Ok.
Thats after using 2 times-Maybe it dry rotted because it feels like its made of plastic rubber like substance. Then it went back into tool box, now 6 month later I was going to use it again. After installing new batteries the motor ran but the jaws would not move.
It is just ridiculous to think that it would work better than original design. There is no reason for anyone to have ever designed this product.
The price was reasonable and flexibility drew my attention. This monkey wrench may be one of the most groundbreaking tools when it comes to DIY. If not, I wouldn't have bought this wrench and I couldn't have given it 5 stars on this review. Of course, you can adjust the inch manually like most typical wrenches. Just insert 2 AAA dry batteries inside the handle in black, and you will be able to adjust the inch automatically. I decided to get this tremendous one as soon as I came across this in some DIY shop.
